Dave began his professional life serving in the Australian Army. He was known for his drinking, fighting, flirting, and more.
But, during his ten years of service, someone told him the truth about Jesus and he begged God to forgive him. Dave now spends his time introducing others to Jesus and sharing the transforming grace that Christ offers. Dave’s got 6 kids, is married to Sammy, and enjoys Lebanese chicken and the Sydney Roosters.

Alan has been leading Captivate Presbyterian Church in North Ryde for the last 5 years. He’s married to Beatrice and they have three
kids, JJ, Teddy and Harry. Alan loves cooking anything with a deep fryer, Brazilian jiu jitsu and pointlessly reorganising his desk. But his greatest joys have been marrying his teenage crush, becoming a foster dad, and teaching people about Jesus.
